Your responsibilities in a few words!

Participate in Canadian and international tax planning assignments – Design corporate reorganizations – Draft tax opinions and notices – Analyze corporate structures and identify tax and legal issues – Formulate practical, concrete recommendations and customized solutions – Perform a variety of tax research – Review various legal documents (wills, trust deeds, corporate documents, shareholder agreements, etc.) – Assume responsibility for tax compliance assignments for tax returns – Contribute to the sharing of knowledge and experience within the team – Promote the firm through conferences, publications and social and professional engagements – Assume responsibility for tax compliance assignments for tax returns – Contribute to the sharing of knowledge and experience within the team – Promote the firm through conferences, publications and social and professional engagements – 2/3 of the role is focused on tax reorganizations and planning

Your assets for this position!

Minimum 4-12 years' experience in Canadian taxation, including knowledge of tax compliance
CPA, Master's degree in taxation (or in process)
Significant international tax experience, leading reorganization or optimization projects
Sound knowledge of tax legislation and regulations
Mastery of tax compliance software and financial systems
Proven ability to develop and implement tax strategies
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Bilingualism: English required and French optional
