Your responsibilities in a few words!

Ensure the updating and validation of rates in the various systems – Maintain and reconcile profit parameters annually – Carry out remittances for all types of withholding or provision – Reconcile balances related to the various reserves and remittances – Assist the Manager with various special requests – Prepare fiscal year-end files – Be the main point of contact for external auditors – Reconcile payroll journals in the various systems Prepare fiscal year-end files – Be the main point of contact for external auditors – Reconcile payroll journals in the various systems – Prepare manual data for certain non-SAP sectors – Ensure remittances for all types of withholding taxes or provisions – Responsible for WSIB, rates for remittances for all establishments and provinces – Follow-up on changes in the annual calendar and agreements at the various scheduled dates – Change in the system for new collective agreements – CNESST declarations – Collaborate in the preparation of year-end T4 statements

Your assets for this position!

  • DEC in accounting or administration
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a related role
  • Relevant experience in a unionized environment (asset)
  • Good knowledge of payroll standards
  • Mastery of the Office suite, more specifically Excel (pivot tables, V search)
  • Functional bilingualism
  • Analytical and organizational skills, good planning skills
  • Knowledge of SAP payroll system an asset
