Your responsibilities in a few words!
Prepare and record period-end closing entries – Perform analyses and reconciliations to understand financial results and explain variances from budget – Participate in the preparation of year-end files for external audit – Analyze and recommend improvements to financial processes – Update work procedure documentation – Contribute to the continuous improvement of work methods – Manage deadlines and meet deadlines – Work in collaboration with other accounting teams – Perform any other task related to the position at the request of the immediate superior.
Your assets for this position!
Bachelor's degree in accounting or administration
Minimum of five years' experience with the production and analysis of financial statements
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry, an asset
Experience with Oracle, an asset
CPA designation, an asset
Bilingualism (French and English)
Self-motivated and rigorous
Excellent analytical and synthesizing skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
